Who we are

Angel Shed is an inclusive children’s theatre group based in Islington, North London, with the objective to provide every child and young person, regardless of ability or background, the opportunity to participate in the performing arts. Our theatre workshops provide performing arts activities for those often excluded from such activities, including those with disabilities, children and young people at risk of social exclusion through their behavioural difficulties and those from disadvantaged backgrounds or living in vulnerable home situations.

Angel Shed is seeking to build on its continued success to develop and grow. We welcome someone who can bring fresh and innovative ideas to help us raise more funds in the most effective way possible.

You have extensive fundraising skills and experience in the charity sector, in generating new sources of income and in building financial sustainability.

The ideal candidate will have relevant professional experience, including developing a funding strategy, researching and selecting suitable trust funds, writing effective and persuasive funding applications and developing other sources of funding, including fundraising events, corporate partnerships, sponsorships, major donors.

This appointment is an opportunity to have a positive and lasting impact on a growing charity that is really making a difference for children and young people in the Islington community.

If you are interested, please contact Andrew Duncan at [email protected] for a detailed trustee profile.
