Who we are

AGIP is a small charity based in north London offering a broad psychoanalytic psychotherapy training and a low-fee, intensive, long term psychotherapy through its Faribridge clinic. It was established in 1974 and currently has around 50 qualified members and 50 trainees/students. We offer a small CPD programme (free to members) but have no other ‘trading’. Our income derives from members’ subs and training fees.

The role

We are seeking someone with accountancy qualifications and experience of working with these qualifications. An interest in working in a mental health charity which runs a training in psychotherapy and a low fee clinic (mainly staffed by trainees) offering long-term intensive psychotherapy would be an advantage.

The treasurer is responsible for keeping the accounts including drawing up draft annual accounts, liaising with auditors/examiners, and providing regular reports to Council.

In addition, the Treasurer acts as company secretary in relation to maintaining accurate records with the Charity Coimmission and Companies House (we are also a company limited by guarantee).
