We have a positive impact on a multitude of people and causes across the county – as a key cornerstone charity we help other charities, volunteers and community groups to thrive by finding funding; inspiring people to volunteer; running projects; building strong communities; and helping strengthen leadership throughout the voluntary sector.

We could have the answer. At Community Impact Bucks we are seeking to recruit a number of committed and dynamic new Trustees to join our Board.
Rural Affairs Role
Do you have experience and expertise in rural communities and the issues affecting them?
We are looking for a new Trustee to join our Board at an exciting time in our development. Buckinghamshire is made up of diverse communities, urban and rural. Changing policies at national and local level is likely to drive significant change in the next decade. Developments in housing, transport, and road and rail infrastructure projects will impact on the sustainability of communities and the environment.
At Community Impact Bucks, we want to be well-equipped to meet these challenges. In particular, we want to ensure that we have the right representation on the Board to enable us to support our rural communities throughout this transformation. We have identified the need to recruit a new Trustee to the Board who will bring considerable knowledge and experience of rural communities and of the issues affecting them. If you have experience in any of the areas affecting rural communities such as housing; transport; village halls; services; sustainability and are interested in becoming a Trustee, we would be delighted to hear from you.
As a Trustee, you will provide direction, challenge and support to the talented and dedicated team who work at Community Impact Bucks.
You will be part of a committed team who govern the Charity and ensure that Community Impact Bucks delivers on its mission and strategic goals.
You will be aligned with and motivated by our vision for improving the lives of people in communities across Bucks.
You will be willing and available to give of your expertise.
