A trustee to enhance our diverse and committed Board. Ensuring we continue to provide safe and effective support to bereaved people. As the Safeguarding Lead you will support our Clinical Director to ensure robust clinical governance processes.

We want to live in a world where grief is understood and supported. We equip, educate and empower society to make sure all bereaved people are treated with compassion and respect. We are the UK’s leading bereavement charity. We provide support in times of national crisis and work directly with the government and the NHS. Cruse has been helping bereaved people for over 60 years. We’ll do whatever it takes to support those who are grieving, from campaigning to providing individual support.

We are looking for a new trustee to enhance our diverse and committed Board and ensure that we can continue to provide safe and effective  support to bereaved people.

You will be the Board Safeguarding Lead and will support our Clinical Director to ensure we have robust clinical governance processes in place.

We are looking for candidates who have current or recent senior experience of:

  • Safeguarding in a community setting
  • Clinical governance and clinical risk in a counselling / talking therapy or similar setting

Your background could be a senior role in:

  • Counselling / talking therapies
  • Community mental health
  • Social Work
