Who we are

The Directors Charitable Foundation (DCF) is the charity for the UK’s screen and stage directors. We have two aims:

To support and help directors in need through our Directors Support Scheme and Mental Health project and

To inspire young people from all backgrounds - particularly from those that are currently unrepresented in the directing profession to consider a career as a director through our Get Directing project

We are seeking volunteers to join our Board of Trustees. DCF operates with one administrator, so Trustees are encouraged to take an active role in our activities and projects as well as carrying out the important governance work of a charity Trustee.  The Board of Trustees meets monthly.

We are keen to hear from volunteers who would like to become Trustees and who possess some of the following skills/experience

·       Screen or stage directors (including directors of games, videos, commercials etc.)

·       IT and digital asset management

·       Fundraising

DCF is committed to encouraging inclusion, equality and diversity across our governing body and in our work with partner organisations, and eliminating unlawful discrimination, harassment and victimisation by complying with the Equality Act 2010.  DCF is an equal opportunities organisation and we welcome applications from all suitably qualified candidates regardless of race, sex, gender identity, disability, religion/belief or sexual orientation.

To apply please email [email protected] attaching your CV. For further information about our work and our current Trustees please explore this site.
