Finance Volunteer

Doctors of the World UK is part of the global Médecins du Monde network, which delivers over 400 projects in 80 countries through 3,000 volunteers. In the UK we provide primary health care and advocacy from a drop-in clinic in east London, supporting some of the societies most vulnerable and marginalised people to access mainstream health services.

Over the coming years, we plan to develop and expand our services to meet growing demand. We believe that every person has the right to primary health care and will advocate tirelessly on behalf of those facing barriers, whether they are vulnerable migrants, sex workers or people with no fixed address.

Doctors of the World UK is currently looking for a Finance Volunteer to assist with various projects and preparation of the management accounts for 2-3 days per week (minimum of 3 months). With your financial knowledge and experience, you will support and help to:

• Assist production monthly management accounts and transactions.

• Prepare intercompany reconciliations with MDM partners.

• Investigate and post journals to tidy old supplier ledger balances.
