About the role
As a Trustee , you will have the opportunity to influence the development of the company and be responsible for the overall governance & strategic direction of the charity. We are seeking two new trustees from communities, currently under represented on our board, specifically those with black or Asian heritage. We understand the value that a range of mixed voices will bring to our charity and aspire to a governance which reflects the diversity of our workforce and the people we support.
Trustee experience or experience in the charity or social care sector is not required, and training and mentorship will be available to those interested in developing their leadership skills through being a Trustee.
At this time, we are particularly interested in speaking to individuals with knowledge & expertise within the following areas:
- Commercial Finance/qualified Accountant
- Clinical background with safeguarding knowledge
