Who we are
We are a small community/village hall in Goldington, Bedford. The building was constructed in 1904 and the trustees appointed in the “modern era” date from 2007. The premises are let out to a variety of regular users including Irish Dancers, U3A Barn Dancers, Yoga and Art classes, War Games club and Whist Drive players. We also have numerous “single lets” for children’s birthday parties and celebrations of other “life” events.
The role
We are always looking to increase the number of trustees on the board as over a period of time we experience resignations and retirements. An adaptable and flexible person who has plenty of “life” skills would be ideal. The commitment is not onerous as all we ask is an ability to attend one 3-hour meeting every month.
