The board is seeking to recruit a person with demonstrable skills in Financial Management. Some knowledge of QuickBooks would be an advantage but not essential. The role is open to first time trustees, introductory training will be offered.

Invisible Palace offers accessible ways for people to get involved with their local environment, heritage, and culture. Projects bring investment to an area with fragmented local government and create social value with demonstrable benefits for people who take part, for heritage assets, and the locality.

London regional winners of the 2022 Marsh Award for Volunteers in Museum Learning Invisible Palace works with participation and volunteering at the heart of the organisation.

The role

The board are looking to appoint an open-minded person with an interest in a range of causes related to social inclusion. This is equally important to skills and expertise in Financial Management.

The ideal candidate will be able to support the board with strategic financial planning targeted to the size and current scope of the charity. For this reason experience working in smaller organisations could be an advantage.

An understanding of the challenges faced by small arts and heritage organisations would also be an advantage.
