M6 is one of England’s leading theatre companies, specialising in creating work for, with and by children and young people. Our mission is to share world class theatre as a powerful learning tool to nurture the hearts, challenge the minds and ignite the imaginations of young audiences, participants and their grown-ups.
The role
This is an exciting time to join M6 Theatre Company’s Board of Trustees and help support our continuing success. M6 has recently been granted an uplift in funding from Arts Council England and are playing a key part in the new cultural strategies, projects and initiatives which are emerging in our hometown of Rochdale.
By volunteering to become a Trustee of M6 Theatre Company you are contributing to making a difference to the lives of thousands of children and young people, both in Rochdale and across the country.
Our Board of Trustees is an important part of who we are. Our committed Board Members have valuable skills, knowledge and experience and provide the highest standards of Governance. The Board determines overall policy and sets M6’s strategic direction to drive the company forwards. They review performance and resolve issues to ensure successful achievement of organisational goals.
