Who we are
During 40 years of operating in Leicester, we have evolved into a specialist service for women with multiple unmet needs, and now work with over 400 women a year from across Leicestershire. A strong focus of our work today is supporting women referred to us through the Police and Probation services.
The role
We are looking for a Chair to lead the board of trustees and ensure effective governance. You will have great interpersonal and communication skills, and be able to demonstrate success in motivating and developing people.
In collaboration with the board and the senior executive team, you will oversee the development of our long term strategy, and review delivery of our annual plan to meet project and funding objectives.
You will be an ambassador for New Dawn New Day, developing our network with decision makers and funders.
If you have a commitment to, but not necessarily experience of working in the women’s sector, this role is a great opportunity to use your experience and leadership skills to help drive forward our work and bukd on our excellent reputation.
