Who we are

Rusthall Lodge is an innovative and growing not-for-profit Care Home that is adept at responding to the changing needs of its residents. It delivers excellent residential and nursing care to the elderly and vulnerable population of Tunbridge Wells and surrounding areas. Rusthall Lodge's mission is to develop its Home based on integrity, reliability and trust.

We are always looking for new people interested in Social Care, to be part of our Board of Trustees and help us to improve the lives of our residents.

As a Board Member, you will help oversee the performance of Rusthall Lodge, enhance our decision making and shape the strategic direction and the development of our organisation.

Our care model is having to evolve in response to demographic, financial and regulatory changes and to contribute effectively, you will need a passion for improving health and social care at a local level and a real interest in meeting the care needs of older people.

You are likely to have experience or knowledge in one or more of the following areas: Clinical practice, Facilities management, ICT, Local Authority and NHS relationships, HR, Marketing, Regulation, Finance and Governance, together with an understanding of risk management and strategic planning.

Previous Board experience is desirable but not essential. Above all, to succeed in this role, you must be able to demonstrate relevant experience and apply this to a not-for-profit organisation.

These are unpaid roles, and you are likely to live in the area served by Rusthall Lodge.

If you are interested in finding out more about joining our Board of Trustees, please submit your CV and a brief covering letter to our Chair of Trustees [email protected] and/or Registered Manager [email protected]
