Who we are
The Huracan Foundation supports teachers and community leaders with the funding, training and resources necessary to deliver football for social development programmes, creating positive change around the world.
The role
We are looking for two or three Trustees to join The Huracan Foundation’s board. Given that we are a lean, growing organisation, we need trustees with the time and energy to be hands-on and actively contribute. We welcome skills in any of: major gifts and grants, corporate partnerships, brand/storytelling, safeguarding, monitoring & evaluation, legal/charity governance, and finance (provided you’re ready to apply them practically).
Who we’re looking for:
1) Fundraising & partnerships: Someone to open doors, facilitate introductions, help shape proposals and join donor / funder conversations and events (optional).
2) Social Impact: Someone to help us assess our current monitoring and evaluation set-up, and find ways to improve our impact measurement. Also potentially someone who can amplify our work and that of our Project Leaders around the world.
Regardless of what your expertise is, we’re looking for someone hands-on between meetings who is able to give some of their time to support our mission.
