Who we are

The Paristamen Charity is a small grant-making charity supporting a wide range of other charities – mainly small charities (including churches and Christians organisations) across Scotland.

The charity is based in Dunbar, East Lothian. Trustees meetings normally take place 3 times/year in Dunbar or Edinburgh.

This could be a great opportunity for a fundraisers looking for experience from the other side as a grant-maker – but applications are welcome for anyone who shares our objects.

The role

The Paristamen Charity works with a small board of four trustees. We meet three times a year in Dunbar or Edinburgh (though some preparation time and email liaison is also needed).

One of our trustees is stepping down shortly and we are seeking a new trustee to serve for 3 years 2024-27. This could be a great opportunity for someone with fundraising experience looking to gain skills from the other side as a grantmaker.
