Who we are

The WCA is a local charity set up in 1946. It runs a website, Wimblecomm,
which was launched in September 2016 and offers a digital community hub featuring a searchable and fully illustrated space directory and other exciting content about events and activities across the whole of the Merton community. Since its launch, Wimblecomm has grown to over 110 space listings, and has seen extensive technical, functional and editorial developments to become what is now a thriving online community hub for Merton. Further details about the trustee and other volunteer opportunities can be found here: https://wimbledoncommunity.org/get-involved/
along with more information on our work, our history, our organisation and our people. We'd love to hear from you!
