A New Chapter for Boards in 2026

As the new year begins, boards across the sector are turning their attention to the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead. At Trustees Unlimited, we are entering 2026 with renewed focus and ambition, building on our long-standing commitment to effective governance and inclusive leadership.

This year, we will continue to deepen our trustee recruitment work, connecting organisations with skilled, values-driven individuals who can make a meaningful impact. Strengthening board diversity remains central to our mission, ensuring that leadership better reflects the communities and causes organisations serve.

We are also expanding the reach of our Step on Board programme internationally, supporting a wider pool of aspiring trustees to step confidently into governance roles and helping organisations future-proof their boards.

Alongside this, our Every Voice Heard workshops are supporting boards to move beyond representation alone. By fostering inclusive cultures where diverse perspectives are actively valued and heard, these sessions help boards become more effective, resilient, and high-performing.

Throughout the year, we will be sharing new trustee opportunities, including an upcoming role with Edge Hill University, as well as insights, case studies, and practical guidance for boards at every stage of their journey.
