The role

​Lichfield Arts is seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join our Board of Trustees as Treasurer. This vital role offers the opportunity to make a real impact on our organisation and the local community.

We are looking for someone with experience in:

  • Financial governance
  • Strategic leadership
  • Arts, culture, and/or funding and policy

And a strong commitment to:

  • Equality, diversity, and inclusion
  • Good governance practices

As Treasurer, you will be the Board’s finance expert, acting as the key link between the trustees and the operations team to ensure strong financial oversight and support the long-term sustainability of Lichfield Arts.

This role provides opportunity to use your experience in financial insights to inform effective decision-making, helping to shape the organisation’s future with confidence and transparency.​

As Treasurer, you may also be asked to represent the organisation at external events or support the trustee team in making financial decisions on urgent matters that require Board authorisation but cannot wait until the next scheduled meeting.

The role would require approximately two days a month on average, with much of the work capable of being undertaken outside of normal office hours if/as required.
