Our mission has two parts: firstly, we provide free, independent advice on a
range of practical issues, giving individuals the guidance they need to improve
their lives and find a way forward. Secondly, we speak up for our community
through advocacy work. We helped 31,429 clients in 2024 with 128,745
issues, so we understand the real problems people are facing; we can share
these insights with key decision-makers to become a catalyst for change in
our community
The role
Citizens Advice Liverpool is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to join our Trustee Board as Treasurer and a Trustee Board member who specialises in 2/3 HR/EDI or fundraising. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of people in our community.
We are looking for someone who can bring energy, enthusiasm and commitment to the role, broadening the diversity of thinking on Citizens Advice Liverpool’s boar
Treasurer – In addition to fulfilling the responsibilities of a Trustee, the Treasurer plays a vital role in overseeing Citizens Advice Liverpool’s financial matters. You will ensure that proper financial measures, controls and procedures are established and maintained and provide regular reports to the Board regarding the financial status of the organisation.
Trustee Board Member – We are seeking dedicated and passionate individuals to join our Board of Trustees with expertise in any two from three areas of expertise: Human Resources, Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI), and Fundraising. As a Trustee, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of our organisation, offering guidance and support in key areas such as HR practices, EDI initiatives, and fundraising efforts. We are looking for individuals who are committed to making a positive impact and who bring valuable skills and insights to help us achieve our mission and ensure the sustainability and growth of Citizens Advice Liverpool.
