For over 30 years, Cubitt has championed artist-led practice, pioneering curatorial opportunities alongside affordable studios to shape a dynamic space for experimentation. As a cooperative, we are shaped by the artists, curators, and cultural practitioners. We believe that independent, artist-run spaces are essential to a thriving cultural landscape within the communities we serve by offering alternative models for making, showing, and interacting with contemporary art.
The role
We are looking for individuals who share our commitment to artist-led models and can bring expertise, insight, enthusiasm and leadership to help shape our future.
Whether your experience lies in governance, fundraising, civic engagement, finance, HR, artistic practice, or advocacy, this is an opportunity to play a vital role in sustaining a unique, independent cooperative organisation that has been at the forefront of contemporary visual culture for over three decades.
The deadline for applications is Monday 7th April 2025. Interviews will be held in person or via video call W/c 5th May 2025 We plan to appoint new trustees W/c 19th May 2025.
