Who we are
Salvia Women’s Therapy Centre was started in 2021 as a response to the high level of need for mental health services for women who would not usually have access to therapy due to poverty, ethnicity, learning disability or similar constraint.
The role
1. A trustee with financial expertise to take up the role of Treasurer
You will have:
o A degree or equivalent in accountancy or maths and substantial experience of working in the financial sector.
o A knowledge of how the voluntary and charitable sector functions, particularly the financial constraints and opportunities which affect such organisations. You will be knowledgeable or be willing to learn about the Charity Commission’s financial reporting requirements and to work closely with Salvia’s CEO and the bookkeeper to ensure these are met.
o Be able to advise the Board on the financial implications of the organisation’s strategic plans.
- A willingness to play an active role in areas such as record keeping, forecasting and setting budgets.
2. A trustee with experience in marketing, social media and websites
You will have:
o a strong grasp of current marketing tools and strategies and be able to develop a digital marketing campaign from initial concept to implementation.
o the capacity to plan and execute digital marketing projects, including SEO/SEM, to develop a marketing database, email, social media and display advertising campaigns, this will include working with volunteers or short -term consultants on developing projects which will raise the profile and funds for the organisation.
o We will be aiming to:
Design, build and maintain our social media presence
Measure and report performance of digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals
Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights
Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies in conjunction with the CEO and trustees.
