Foundation for Future London is an independent charity with a strategic focus on arts, culture and heritage, and a future focus on sport, as a catalyst for equitable regeneration for the East London boroughs of Hackney, Newham, Tower Hamlets and Waltham Forest.
Established in 2015, we connect our wider four borough communities, grassroots organisations and stakeholders to ensure they benefit from inclusive, accessible opportunities
The role
The Finance, Audit & Risk Committee is an advisory committee that reviews and discusses risk, resilience, and any other related matters and reports to the full board of trustees quarterly.
This role is designed to provide an external perspective to help improve risk management, business continuity and organisational resilience across the charity.
The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of the requirements of charity governance and risk management and have a recognised qualification in accountancy preferably with charity financial governance. We are also looking for an enthusiastic and committed individual who wants to play a role with an East London charity that has a vision to see East London communities transformed and empowered to become resilient and thriving, for developing prosperous and sustainably creative and social economies.
