Who we are

Established in 2002, Bloc Projects is a contemporary arts organisation and charity in the centre of Sheffield. We support the development of early to mid-career artists and present art that encourages new ways of thinking about our world. Our artistically ambitious and socially engaged Key Strands programme responds in different ways to current issues and our Hosted at Bloc Projects programme presents an opportunity for individuals or organisations to hire our gallery for events and exhibitions.

The role

We are looking for passionate individuals who are committed to supporting Bloc Project’s team to meet the organisation’s objectives and ambitions. We have recently carried out a skills audit of our current trustees and have identified a need for trustees with experience in finance and fundraising to help support the future sustainability of the organisation. Bloc Projects is committed to its board being representative of the communities in which we work and we therefore positively encourage applications from people of all backgrounds and lived experiences from across the UK.
