Caspari Foundation is a charity dedicated to supporting children and young people through educational psychotherapy. We work with schools, families, and professionals to promote emotional wellbeing and learning.


The role

Fundraising Trustee – Education and Therapy Focus

We are seeking a Fundraising Trustee with a passion for children’s mental health and inclusive education, who can help us grow our funding base and raise awareness of our work with donors, local authorities, and grant-making bodies.

Your Impact

As a trustee, you will help shape the future of our charity by:

  • Developing and supporting fundraising strategies that highlight the impact of our therapy and education programmes.
  • Building relationships with individual donors, trusts, foundations, and corporate partners.
  • Engaging with local authorities and public sector bodies to unlock funding and collaborative opportunities.
  • Advocating for our work in education and mental health spaces, helping us reach new audiences and funding streams.
  • Contributing to campaigns and events that raise awareness and generate income.
  • Helping us communicate our impact through compelling storytelling and data-driven insights.

What You’ll Bring

  • Experience in fundraising, business development, or stakeholder engagement, ideally in education, mental health, or the charity sector.
  • A strong network or understanding of local authority structures, grant funding bodies, or donor communities.
  • Strategic thinking and the ability to translate vision into action.
  • Passion for mental health, wellbeing, and inclusive education.
  • Willingness to be an ambassador for Caspari and open doors to new opportunities.​

Trustee for Ethics and Professional Standards

We are seeking a Trustee for Ethics & Professional Standards to help ensure our work continues to meet the highest ethical, safeguarding, and professional standards. This role is vital to maintaining trust with our trainees, professional members, schools, families, volunteers and the children we support.

Your Impact

As a trustee, you will:

  • Oversee alongside a second trustee, ethical governance across our training and therapeutic services, ensuring alignment with UKCP’s Code of Ethics and Professional Practice. [psychotherapy.org.uk]
  • Support safeguarding compliance, working with staff to uphold robust policies and procedures for working with vulnerable children. [caspari.org.uk]
  • Advise on professional conduct, accreditation, and ethical dilemmas in training and practice.
  • Champion ethical culture, helping embed reflective practice and integrity across the organisation.
  • Ensure regulatory alignment, including UKCP standards, Charity Commission guidance, and best practice in safeguarding. [gov.uk], [ncvo.org.uk]
  • Contribute to trustee decision-making, especially where ethical or safeguarding concerns arise.

What You’ll Bring

  • Experience in ethics, safeguarding, psychotherapy, education, or clinical governance.
  • Familiarity with UKCP standards or similar professional codes.
  • Understanding of working with vulnerable children and young people.
  • Strategic thinking and a commitment to ethical leadership.
  • Ability to support and challenge constructively within a board setting.
