To become a trustee, attend one 3 hour meeting on the second Tuesday of each month. Have skills in some/all of the following-gardening, secretarial/minute taking, financial/bookkeeping/auditor, maintenance and repairs, opening/closing hall for occasional users

Who we are

We are a small village hall in Goldington, Bedford. The building was constructed in 1904 and the trustees appointed in the \”modern era\” date from 2007. The premises are let out to a variety of regular users including Irish Dancers, U3A Barn Dancers, Yoga, Art classes & Whist Drive players. We also have numerous \”single lets\” for children’s birthday parties and celebrations of other \”life\” events.


The role

Main skills required is enthusiasm, a can do attitude and willingness to get stuck in. Be able to attend a trustee committee meeting on the second Tuesday each month. To be available for “e-mail discussions” on matters between meetings. To be available as and when, depending on the role or job being undertaken.
