Who we are

BCNO is a leading osteopathic educational institution providing degree programmes in osteopathy. It combines two long-established organisations – The European School of Osteopathy in Kent and The British College of Naturopathy & Osteopathy in London.


We are a charity and higher education establishment, regulated by the Office for Students and The General Osteopathic Council.


The role

The Chair of the Board of
Trustees provides strategic and regulatory leadership to BCNO as a regulated
higher education provider and registered charity. The Chair ensures that the
Board fulfils its responsibilities for institutional sustainability, academic
quality and standards, student outcomes, and compliance with company and charity
law and Office for Students (“OfS”) regulatory requirements, while advancing BCNO’s
charitable mission and public benefit.

As our next Chair you will have a strong commitment to higher education and student success. You will be an effective leader, who can inspire and challenge.

Time commitment is 2 to 3 days per month, for a term of 3 years.

Please note this is a voluntary, unpaid role but reasonable relevant expenses will be covered.
