Who we are
We are a local charity based in East Cambridgeshire. We support adults with learning disabilities through a variety of ways. The adults who attend Branching Out can choose to work in our horticultural areas, prepare items for sale such as greetings cards, small wooden items and seasonal gifts. There are also opportunities to interact socially in the community including shopping trips, preparing planters for the local village, and taking items made at Branching Out to our charity shop.
The role
What will you be doing?
We need a voluntary Treasurer to help run our charity. We are looking for someone with a passion for helping disavantaged people who can offer advice and guidance for our Senior Management team to help them manage the charity to further success.
What are we looking for?
Experience in finance at a senior management level. Passion for helping disadvantaged people.
What difference will you make?
The new treasurer would provide us with financial knowledge, suggestions and opinions, and an opportunity to help the board of trustees and senior management to continuously improve our service. This could lead to improvements in our already highly successful social care provision.
