Who we are

We are a local charity that provides free, confidential, independent and impartial advice to everyone across Amber Valley, Chesterfield, Derbyshire Dales, Erewash and High Peak.


The role

?Trustee role details:

Collective responsibility for overall management, governance and strategicdirection of the charity in accordance with governing document, legal andregulatory guidelines

• Voluntary trustee role, all reasonable expenses will be reimbursed

• We are particularly interested in people with experience in human resources,finance, technology and/or equity, diversity and inclusion

Trainee Trustee role details:

• Voluntary position – one-year fixed term• Time commitment – equivalent to 10-14 days per year

• Tailored development – receive a personalised training and development plan

• No costs – reasonable travel expenses fully covered

• Explain, guide and advise the board on the key assumptions, financial risks and implications of the charity’s budgets, operational and strategic plans

• Voluntary trustee role, all reasonable expenses will be reimbursed
