We’re seeking a new Treasurer with strong financial management expertise to help guide our charity. As a qualified Chartered Accountant, you’ll play a key role in strengthening our governance and shaping sustainable financial strategies.

Who we are

We support children in crisis settings to heal, learn and thrive through laughter and play.


We offer a form of immediate emotional first aid, bringing joy, laughter and play into humanitarian settings characterised by uncertainty, trauma and loss. We do this by sharing playful performances and workshops with children, training others to do the same, and collaborating with our partners to promote and protect a child’s right to play in every crisis.


The role

We’re looking for a Treasurer to help guide the next three years of Clowns Without Borders UK’s strategic development.

We are a small charity and our board is made up of dedicated professionals from the arts, humanitarian, monitoring and evaluation and fundraising sectors. It’s a friendly, hands-on group that works closely with the CEO, providing strategic guidance.

What are we looking for?

Skills

  • Qualified UK Chartered Accountant
  • Knowledge and experience of current financial practices relevant to small charities
  • Strong financial management and strategic experience
  • Good financial analysis skills.
  • Ability to communicate clearly
