At DAR, we are deeply committed to assisting individuals seeking sanctuary. Our 70 active volunteers are engaged in diverse roles, from support to fundraising. We are seeking a Treasurer within commuting distance of Darlington, who has UK Finance experience.

Who we are

We are a group of local volunteers who work alongside refugees and asylum seekers as they rebuild their lives in Darlington. We provide advice on how to access services, leisure activities and friendship to displaced people arriving in Darlington. We also offer English lessons, sport and craft activities, as well as helping people to find voluntary and paid employment
