Who we are
Kent Coast Volunteering
The role
We are looking for a dynamic individual to join our trustee board. Trustees meet virtually 4 times a year with an in-person AGM once a year on the Kent Coast.
Trustees are encouraged to get more involved in the charity if they so wish. This could be with strategy, planning, fundraising, events, training, finances, buddying staff, including the manager – or in a variety of other ways, tailored to the trustee’s interests and the charity’s needs.
Our charity connects communities through volunteering and volunteer-led projects. We are passionate about the power of volunteering and the impact volunteers make in our communities.
Firstly, we are a volunteer centre, matching volunteers with charities, community groups and CICs, we support these volunteer-involving organisations with best practice resources and networking events around volunteering.
Secondly, we run two in-house projects befriending and community transport. We believe volunteering has the power to combat loneliness and isolation.
We are in the final year of a Lottery project and looking to refocus on our offer going forward. It’s an exciting time and we are keen to put volunteers even more at the heart of what we do.
Please visit AGM volunteer celebration and thank you | Kent Coast Volunteering for more information about what we do, our latest annual report, an invitation to our AGM and volunteer celebration and thank you. We look forward to hearing from you.
