Who we are
Sheffield ME and Fibromyalgia Group provides information, support and a point of contact for people with Myalgic Encephalomyelitis / Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (ME/CFS), fibromyalgia and long Covid, their families and their carers, in South Yorkshire and North Derbyshire.
The Group seeks to raise general awareness of ME/CFS, fibromyalgia and long covid, and to educate the general public through the promotion and dissemination of knowledge about these illnesses with no known cure
The role
We are looking for a number of Trustees to help strengthen
our governance as we continue to deliver high quality online and in-person
services and activities for over 700 members.
Our Board has up to 10 positions and as such as we are
looking for individuals with a range of skills including but not limited to:

Fundraising / bid writing

Finance
·
Governance
·
Strategic planning
·
Impact and evaluation reporting
We are on a fantastic journey of change and continuous
improvement and are looking for individuals with an open mind, a willingness to
challenge each other and the Manager constructively, a willingness to
understand the needs of our members and a desire to make a positive impact
their lives.
