Founded in 1887, we have been at the heart of Rotherhithe and Bermondsey for over 137 years, working to ensure that everyone—regardless of age, background, or circumstances—has the support and opportunities they need to thrive. The role
As a trustee, you will provide
strategic oversight, contribute your expertise, and support the leadership team
in making key decisions. You will help shape our long-term plans, ensuring that
Time & Talents continues to serve the local community effectively and
remains a welcoming space for people of all ages and backgrounds.
We will particularly welcome
applications from

potential
treasurers to shadow our current treasurer in the last year of her term of
office
·
people
with experience of change management

·
Have
connections to Southwark through home or work
·
A
commitment to Time & Talents.
·
A
willingness to devote the necessary time and effort
·
Ability
to attend a minimum of four board meetings per year and one away day per year
·
Strategic
vision.
·
Good,
independent judgement.
·
An
ability to think creatively.
·
A
willingness to speak their mind.
·
An
understanding and acceptance of the legal duties, responsibilities and
liabilities of trusteeship.
·
An
ability to work effectively as a member of a team.
