Wigan and Leigh Carers Centre is seeking an experienced Trustee to join our dynamic team and help us deliver our ambitious 2025 fundraising and grants income strategy.

About Us: At Wigan and Leigh Carers Centre, we support unpaid carers of all ages, providing essential services and advocacy to improve their quality of life. This is an exciting time for our organisation as we embark on new initiatives to enhance our impact and reach.

Role Overview: As a Trustee with expertise in fundraising and business development, you will play a crucial role in guiding our strategic direction and ensuring the success of our fundraising efforts. Your experience will help us secure vital funding and develop innovative strategies to support our mission.

Key Responsibilities:

– Provide strategic oversight and guidance on fundraising and business development initiatives

– Collaborate with the Board and staff to implement our 2025 fundraising and grants income strategy

– Actively participate as a key member of the fundraising sub-committee

– Leverage your network and expertise to identify and pursue new funding opportunities

– Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and best practices in fundraising

– Proven experience in fundraising, business development, or a related field

– Strong strategic thinking and leadership skills

– Excellent communication and networking abilities
