Recently, our team took part in a hands-on terrarium workshop led by Nikki Talbot of Studio Hoime. What started as a simple activity quickly became a friendly competition, as colleagues immersed themselves in designing miniature ecosystems with strategy, precision, and pride.
From arranging moss layers to placing tiny stones, every terrarium reflected creativity and attention to detail. The exercise reminded us how stepping away from day-to-day routines can spark new ideas, strengthen relationships, and inspire fresh perspectives—qualities that are just as essential for trustees and board members guiding organisations toward success.
