The role

We are particularly interested in individuals who bring previous experience as a Trustee, ideally within the field of mental health. However, we place far greater value on personal qualities than formal qualifications.

Commitment, integrity, honesty, and reliability are at the heart of what we’re looking for.We welcome people with a “can do, will do” mindset, those who show up, follow through, and bring energy and dedication to the role.

Being a Trustee with Norfolk Clubhouse is not just about attending meetings; it’s about contributing meaningfully and being part of a supportive, values-driven team.Board meetings are held every two months in central Norwich.

Between meetings, we encourage Trustees to contribute in ways that align with their individual strengths. We also value building genuine relationships, and where possible, we encourage informal meet-ups, whether that’s a coffee and a chat, to help us get to know each other as people, not just colleagues. If you are motivated to make a difference and can commit your time and energy to this role, we would be delighted to hear from you.
