Who we are
Yorkshire Miners’ Welfare Convalescent Homes (YMWCH) is a small charity whose aim is to provide support and opportunities for convalescence and restorative breaks to those who were formerly employed in the coal mining industry together with eligible relatives.
The role
The charity is eager to recruit new trustees who can match the drive and enthusiasm of our existing trustees in providing a service to our beneficiaries.
We seek individuals who have areas of expertise in some, but not all, of the following:-
Financial Management, governance, website design and understanding, concern and empathy towards the older generation for whom the charity caters.
