We are thrilled to announce the appointment of Georgina Groves as the new Chair of the board at Crustacean Compassion (CC). Our organisation takes immense pride in having played a pivotal role in facilitating the recruitment of this exceptional candidate.
Georgina Groves assumes the role of Chair following the resignation of CC co-founder Maisie Tomlinson, who has decided to step down to concentrate on other projects after contributing significantly to guiding the organisation to a position of strength over the past seven years.
Georgina, a co-founder and former Executive Director of Wild Welfare—an international charity dedicated to enhancing welfare for captive wild animals—is currently engaged as an animal welfare strategy consultant. With over 20 years of experience in the field, she has worked with various animal welfare, research, and conservation organisations, including Bristol University Farm Welfare Research, the Natural History Museum in London, World Animal Protection, and the British and Irish Association of Zoos and Aquariums.
