Step By Step
The Charity was very successful in 2018 and has further growth and development in their trajectory. Following the retirement of their current Company Secretary after nine successful years, Step By Step are now looking for the right person to step into this important role.
British Stammering Association
The Board is looking to appoint a Treasurer to help guide the organisation’s finances over the years ahead. We aren’t necessarily looking for someone who stammers, but we are looking to recruit someone with a passion for the cause. This position is unremunerated, although travel expenses can be covered. The role would suit someone looking for experience in the charity governance sector. As Treasurer you would also Chair the Finance Sub-Committee.
Pro bono Panel Member of IPPF Independent Complaints Panel
International Planned Parenthood Federation
We are seeking pro bono candidates to apply to volunteer on IPPF's recently established Independent Complaints Panel (“ICP”) which deals with complaints or concerns raised in respect of members of the IPPF Governing Council, including the Honorary President and the Honorary Treasurer; and complaints or concerns raised against the Honorary Legal Counsel, members of the Audit Committee, members of any other committee established by the Governing Council, and the Director General; and it specifies the applicable procedure. It will also deal with appeals. We are looking to recruit a minimum of six pro bono candidates for this role who are independent of IPPF and from whom panels can be drawn to consider individual complaints. The ICP will comprise three members at any one time or one member in relation to an appeal. It is difficult to say at the moment what the time commitment would be, however we envisage it will take four to five days a year of your time.
